“When Silence Became My Reply” is a well-being art painting born from an unethical question directed at me — a moment that called not for reaction, but for reflection. Rather than responding with words, I turned inward and transformed silence into artistic expression. Through this work, art became a space of healing and fulfilment, reconnecting me with the three essential psychological needs identified in Self-Determination Theory: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. The painting reflects the human need to remain true to oneself.
